FSC Scholarship
$24,000 in Scholarships Available to Credit Union Members
Ideal Credit Union is excited to share that the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC) is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship program! This opportunity is available to credit union members across Minnesota—including Ideal Credit Union members—who are pursuing higher education.
For the 2026-27 school year, $24,000 in scholarships will be awarded to college students in traditional (high school seniors entering college) and non-traditional categories. Each recipient will be awarded $1,500 each.

Application & Essay Submission Guidelines
must be submitted electronically by 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time November 30, 2026. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Submit an essay not to exceed 500 words answering the essay question for this scholarship period. Transcripts and letters of recommendation will not be considered. Do not use your name or the name of your credit union in your essay or on the essay page. Essays that include your name or the name of your credit union will be automatically disqualified.
