The Forbes Best-In-State Credit Union rankings capture the best credit unions in each state. The process gathers in-depth research and insights leading to a ranking of the top credit unions in all 50 states. The 2022 Best-in-State ranks saw just 3% of credit unions across the country making the cut.

For the Best-In-State Credit Union rankings, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista. The research included in-depth interviews of more than 26,000 credit union members from across the country gathering insights about their banking relationships. Members provided responses on a number of services and provided an overall satisfaction score.
