Precautions We Are Taking as We Reopen to the Public

Visitors who enter our branches are encouraged to wear a mask. We are prepared to do our part to ensure the safety of our staff, members and the community. This includes:

  • Frequent disinfecting of surfaces and supplies by employees and sanitation professionals
  • Sneeze shields installed at all service areas
  • Floor guides to assist with social distancing
  • Maintaining low capacity at all times (7-10 visitors)
  • Removal of brochures, take-ones, coffee and check-in stations

We understand! Ideal CU drive-thru locations and the contact center remain open during regular business hours and you continue to have 24/7 access to your accounts using Ideal CU’s digital banking tools and other resources, which include:

  • Ideal Digital Banking & Mobile App: Check balances, view transactions, transfer money, pay bills, deposit checks via mobile check deposit and more. Enroll now
  • ATMs: Use self-serve ATMs at all Ideal CU branches to withdraw cash and make deposits. You also have surcharge-free access to over 40,000 ATMs nationwide through the CO-OP ATM Network.
  • Night-Drop Service: Deposits made through branch Night Drops will be processed the next business day. If you have a transaction that needs to be processed immediately please visit your nearest Ideal CU drive-thru branch. Note: Stillwater and Inver Grove Heights branches do not have drive-thru service.
  • Debit & Credit Cards: All Ideal CU cards will continue to work as normal to give you immediate access to your money for purchases at stores and online.
  • Online Account & Loan Applications: You will still be able to open additional accounts and apply for loans using our 24/7 online application. Most loans can be completed without ever needing to visit a branch. Open an account or apply for a loan.

Your money is safe and insured by the NCUA

Keep in mind your money is safe, secure and insured, up to a minimum of $250,000 per individual, by NCUA. You may qualify for more than $250,000 in coverage at Ideal if you own share accounts in different ownership categories. The most common categories for individual and family shares are single owner accounts, joint accounts, certain retirement accounts, revocable trust accounts, and irrevocable trust accounts.
