Register to learn and earn $100 this February at Tartan High School
Sign up for Money Talks at Tartan High School this to earn $100* learn about personal finance! During this three-part course, your fellow classmates from the Ideal Student Credit Union (located in the DECA School Store) will teach you the ins and outs of how to:
- Budget, save, and invest money
- Build & uitlize credit and weigh the benefits/risks of credit products
- Manage accounts and finances via online and mobile banking
After you attend all three classes and pass the I’m Financially Ready exam with a score of 80% or higher, you will receive a $100 cash stipend* to spend, or save, however you want! All students will be required to open a Share Savings Account with Ideal Credit Union in order to receive the cash stipend.
When and where
All three classes will take place in the DECA Classroom at Tartan High School from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM.

- Tuesday, February 25th
NOTE: Students who have already taken the course are not eligible to take the course a second time.
*Students must open an Ideal CU Share Savings Account prior to the completion of the Money Talks course in order to receive the $100 cash stipend. Students may only take the Money Talks course one time to receive the $100 cash stipend. You can open your student’s account online any of our six convenient locations.
